Chapter Retreat, Day 2

Present: Fr. Steve Sellers, Mark Starkweather, Charles Stevens, Liz Overbo, Rob Odney, Margie Bailly, Betty Kerns, Julie Helgaas, Mark Harvey, Dale Shook, Emily Hunt

Absent: Doug Herman, John Adams

I. Opened with prayer at 9:20am

II. Introductions and brief thoughts on CAT Scan results.

A) COMMUNICATION IS KEY!!!

B) Results not surprising to most.

C) Everyone feeling energized and ready to dig right in.

III. Fr. Steve passed out the “recap” sheet of the CAT Scan results

IV. Our next steps

A) Census

i. Julie and Betty volunteered to make up the survey

ii. We will mail and e-mail these out and hope to have the information back by Easter

iii. Members of the Chapter will be making announcements throughout the month of March at each service

B) Biographies of members in the Extra Extra each Sunday so that we are more visible to everyone else!

C) A joint meeting of the Foundation, Chapter and Finance members to be held before the next Chapter meeting. Fr. Steve will send more information in an e-mail.

V. Election of new officers.

A) Unanimous consensus to elect people who volunteered for the positions.

All approved. Sr. Warden – Rob Odney, Jr. Warden – Charles Stevens,

Treasurer – John Adams, and Secretary/Clerk – Emily Hunt.
