Dean’s Report:  Fr. Steve presented a draft of an organizational chart for the ministries and programs of Gethsemane that includes the Chapter members and the clergy.  This chart is to serve as a tool to grow and look toward the future.  Fr. Steve also reported that planning for the fall is underway.  Confirmation will be on Wednesday evenings (instead of Sunday mornings).  Other fall programs will include adult and children’s education on certain Wednesday evenings (about once a month).  These evenings will entail Holy Eucharist at 5:30pm, a light meal at 6:00pm and the program at 6:30pm.

Senior Warden’s Report:  Dave reported that he is waiting to hear back from groups (Foundation & Diocese) that we have requested monies from to the Capital Campaign projects.

Treasurer’s Report: Brett absent.  Leisha present a brief report on the finances.

Junior Warden’s Report:  No report – Pete absent.

Cathedral Coordinator’s Report:  A list of upcoming events was included in the Chapter packets.  Leisha finally met with the gardener that Eleanor Coomber suggested (Mat Paulson of Three Little Birds Landscaping).  He suggested doing a major cleanup of the gardens including removing the plants that are overgrown and taken over the gardens, removing and replacing dying shrubs, and planting low maintenance flowers.  The bid is for $1675.25.  Discussion ensued.  It was mentioned that since the roof (now complete) and siding are being done right now the gardens are going to be trampled.  It was suggested to do a Garden Party Clean-up day on a Sunday afternoon inviting all members to help once the siding project is complete.

Old Business:

Nursery Committee:  Fr. Steve reported that we have 2 qualified Nursery worker candidates that he has interviewed.  The next step is to have the Nursery Committee interview both candidates.

Capital Campaign:  Fr. Steve and Dave Anderson reported that a pool of names has been collected and people are being approached.

Closing prayer and adjournment: Motion to adjourn the meeting – Dave Anderson, Holly Schweigert, seconded.  Closing prayer lead by Fr. Steve.  Meeting adjourned at 7:15pm.
